The Forties Paperdolls 1

WELCOME TO THE FABULOUS FORTIES

My collection of forties items is severely limited. These items just happened to end up in my collection because they came to me in boxlots and I liked them when I saw them. My primary objective was and is to replace my childhood collection which encompasses the late fifties and sixties.

Even though I don't really collect Forties stuff, I still have quite a few sets and so have arranged them alphabetically on three pages so as not to slow down loading. Items on this page are not for sale, however due to thinning my collections, some of the items have been sold and as thus are no longer available for closeups, etc.

Just as I love paperdoll sets with tons of dolls, I love school related items(OK I'm a teacher!) So when this item came up on ebay, I had to grab it, even though it is not from the forties or fifties, but the thirties, 1939 to be exact. Don't you just love these little cuties. They all look so scholarly.
